As with the antique singing bowls, a complex beautiful harmonic tone is produced by new singing bowls by striking their edge or rubbing the singing bowl around the rim. Striking the singing bowl first, and then rubbing it, often yields the best results.

These newer bowls are machined and are more "perfect" than our antique bowls. Most important is the relaxing, meditative tones which all of our Himalayan singing bowls are guaranteed to produce.

All bowls come with a playing stick and a guarantee of satisfaction.

  • These newer bowls are machined and are more "perfect" than our antique bowls. Most important is the relaxing, meditative tones which all of our Himalayan singing bowls are guaranteed to produce.

    According to legend the original bowls were made from an alloy of seven metals representing the seven planets then known. However metallurgical analysis suggests that the original bowls were made from a complex alloy of up to twelve different metals, giving them their distinctive rich sound. Modern versions are usually made from a much simpler alloy, mainly copper, and do not have the same complexity of tone and harmonics

    All bowls come with a playing stick and a guarantee of satisfaction.
